Food for Education & Wellness Program Coordinator
Part-Time
Position Summary
The Food for Education & Wellness Program Coordinator helps manage the day-to-day operations of Black Farm Street's Food for Education & Wellness Program. This role works directly with participants, community partners, and volunteers to ensure weekly food distribution and educational activities run smoothly.
Responsibilities
-Coordinate weekly produce and meal distributions
-Assist with participant communication and scheduling
-Help organize cooking classes and wellness workshops
-Maintain participant records and attendance
-Support volunteers during program activities
-Represent Black Farm Street in a professional and welcoming manner
-Assist with general program planning and community outreach
Qualifications
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Friendly, dependable, and community-oriented
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Experience with community programs or customer service is a plus
-Basic computer skills
-Reliable transportation
Food for Education & Wellness Delivery Driver
Part-Time
Position Summary
The Delivery Driver helps ensure participants receive fresh produce and prepared meals by safely transporting food to designated delivery locations. This position also assists with loading, unloading, and maintaining food quality during transport.
Responsibilities
-Deliver produce and prepared meals to program participants
-Load and unload food boxes and supplies
-Maintain delivery schedules and routes
-Ensure food is transported safely and professionally
-Assist with setup and cleanup during distribution events when needed
-Communicate professionally with participants and staff
-Help maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Qualifications
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
-Reliable transportation
-Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
-Dependable, punctual, and courteous
-Strong customer service skills
-Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
